ESI meets... Magic

This newly launched event series uniquely intertwines two disciplines or topics, making them understandable and accessible to a broad audience. After the premiere last year, this time, neuroscience meets magic.

Ingenuity and passion are essential elements of science and art. Artists and researchers alike need them to overcome boundaries and explore new worlds. Discipline, perfection, and attention to the smallest details are as important as curiosity, courage, and enthusiasm.

Our newly launched event series ESImeets… seeks to uniquely link two disciplines or topics, making them understandable and accessible to a broad audience. The format intends to amaze you, to make you think, and - of course - to make you want to be part of it again next time. For the premiere it was ESImeets… Ensemble Modern.

This time, it is ESImeets… Magic. We are especially pleased to welcome the magician and physicist Thomas Fraps to our institute! His show turns the laws of nature upside down and takes the audience to the border between illusion and reality. Short lectures by our research group leader Rosanne Rademaker on human perception will complete the program. Let us enchant you!

On Thursday, March 14, visionary neuroscience meets magic at the ESI - and you are cordially invited! Admission is from 7:30 pm, and the event starts at 8 pm. Seating and admission are free, but places are limited.

Unfortunately, we are already fully booked! If you have any questions, please contact Anja Tydecks by e-mail at anja.tydecks (at) esi-frankurt.de
